Why Family Institute Exists

We’ve sat with too many couples and families who said, “I wish we’d known this sooner.” The world is changing fast, AI is reshaping work, social media is shaping identity, and many homes are quietly battling conflict, depression, and overwhelm. But no one is born knowing how to do marriage, raise kids, or handle money well.

Family Institute was created to change that. We offer practical, biblical guidance so families don’t have to figure everything out alone. Whether you’re just starting out or decades in, there’s wisdom here for your season.

Our approach is simple: trained facilitators, proven frameworks, and a community that wants to see you win. Not theories, tools you can use this week.

We exist to equip families with the wisdom and support they need to thrive, not just survive, in a fast-changing world.

Meet Pastor Muriithi and Carol Wanjau

Pst. Muriithi Wanjau

Muriithi is a bestselling author with books sold across six continents, including Financial Fitness, Kingdomnomics, and Fearless. He’s the lead visionary of Mavuno Church, a movement now in 10 nations. But what drives him isn’t just the speaking or the writing, it’s sitting across from real people and watching them discover what they’re capable of. He brings decades of coaching, financial wisdom, and pastoral heart to every course.

Pst. Carol Wanjau

Carol is a trained marriage and family therapist, a successful author, and someone who listens before she speaks. Her courses on marriage and parenting are used by families around the world. She understands the weight of raising kids in today’s world and the quiet struggles couples face. Her strength is making biblical truth feel accessible and warm, not distant or preachy.

With over 40 combined years in coaching, counseling, and family ministry, their mission is simple: help families discover their God-given purpose and live it out. They’re also co-founders of several investment companies, so they know firsthand what it takes to build something lasting.

How Family Institute Works

We don’t do one-size-fits-all programs. Every experience is designed to be facilitated, meaning you’re not just watching videos alone. You’re in a group, guided by someone trained to walk you through the content, answer questions, and create space for honest conversation.

Some families prefer self-paced learning. Others thrive with a facilitator. We offer both, because life doesn’t look the same for everyone.

What you’ll always get: real tools, biblical foundations, and a community that wants your family to succeed.
